Discover Sydney:
For the past 8 months I have been living in Sydney and I absolutely love it here.
Things To Do:
Sydney Bridge Climb
This is a really cool experience! Picture yourself climbing up one of the world’s most renowned bridges, soaking in breathtaking views of Sydney’s skyline and harbor. Your guides will expertly lead you up the bridge’s arches using ladders, catwalks, and stairs. From the summit, you’ll witness sights like the Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay, and the entire city below. They’ll keep you engaged with fascinating facts, and there’ll be plenty of opportunities to capture awesome photos. I highly recommend trying the Summit Twilight Climb. As the sun sets and the moon rises, you’ll witness the transition from daytime to nighttime views of Sydney. While it does come with a cost, trust me, it’s absolutely worth every penny!
Go to Bondi beach
If you’re in Sydney, you’ve absolutely got to check out Bondi! Bondi Beach is a favorite among visitors because it’s fantastic for surfing, laid-back atmosphere, and offers plenty of cool amenities like cafes, bars, and shops. Be sure not to miss iconic spots like the Bondi Icebergs Club and the Bondi Markets, especially on Sundays. It truly has everything you could want for a perfect beach trip! Getting there is simple, hop on a train from the city to Bondi Junction station, then catch a bus straight to Bondi Beach. The bus ride usually takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Take the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly
If you’re looking for a scenic and unique experience, consider taking the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly. You’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour’s iconic landmarks along the way. Plus, it’s a hassle-free way to reach Manly. Once you arrive, you’ll be right in the heart of the action, making it easy to explore the fantastic beaches. It’s an experience you definitely won’t want to miss if you are in Sydney,
Watch the FREE firework display in Darling Harbour.
Every Saturday night at 8:30pm or 9:00pm, depending on the time of year, Darling Harbour puts on a super firework display that you won’t want to miss. Loads of people, both locals and tourists, gather to watch the spectacle. You can catch the fireworks from various spots around Darling Harbour, and the best part is, it’s totally free! It’s a fantastic way to spend an evening.
Watch the sunset at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair
You’ve got to experience the sunset at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair in Sydney—it’s absolutely amazing! This spot offers one of the best views of the sunset, with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge serving as the backdrop. Situated at the edge of the Royal Botanic Garden, you’ll have a perfect vantage point to admire the entire harbor and city skyline. It’s no wonder why so many people, both locals and tourists, love coming here—the view is simply breathtaking.
Grab a coffee
If you’re trying to find a coffee in Sydney, I highly recommend going to Eleven Miles on Crown Street in Surry Hills. It’s my go-to coffee spot in the city. The staff are very welcoming and they serve excellent flat whites and refreshing iced lattes, which are perfect on a sunny day!
